Each year, the NAFA team is an ever-growing group of people who get to have amazing experiences during the festival period. We welcome familiar as well as new faces into our Fringe Force to help us deliver the best community event of the year.

NAFA 2021 was a very joyful and unforgettable experience both as an employee and an attendee. I was lucky enough to be apart of an incredible team who were welcoming, jovial and such a delight to work alongside. Everyday was different - I met new people, made new friends and have many enjoyable memories looking back on the festival. Hopefully I’ll see you in 2022!.
Jodie 2021 as Box Office Staff
Being part of the NAFA team was one of the best times in my life. Being the first point of contact in the Ticket booth has allowed me to meet some of the funniest people from across the Globe and have the best office view in Townsville. (Who doesn’t want an office on the beach!) I also got up close and personal with the acts and have met some of the most talented people in Australia.? Having the ability to see these people perform was amazing, we are so lucky to have the festival in Townsville. I have gained some long-term friendships and gained some very valuable skills that I have been able to take with me to further my career.

I really enjoyed working the festival again this year. From setting up signs, to meeting my favourite artists and performers the best part for me is friendships I’ve gained in the process. I’ve been involved in delivering NAFA festival for a number of years now and I look forward to it every year!
